Pinnacle Systems at CNN
If this post from Yahoo's message boards is true, that CNN has suspended testing of Pinnacle's editing system, it could be bad news for Pinnacle, as they are struggling to grow their share of the IT-based video TV broadcast market. But more importantly, it could mean great news to the smaller software-only vendors that longer-term will be the winners in the broadcast space. Normally I wouldn't put much faith in a Yahoo message board quote, but I'm going with my gut on this one.
